The Hsieh-Wilson Lab in the News

Our paper, "Probing the Dynamics of O-GlcNAc Glycosylation in the Brain using Quantitative Proteomics" was highlighted on the journal cover, in Nature Chemical Biology News and Views, in Nature Research Highlights, and most recently in Journal of Proteome Research,

Our paper, "Sulfation Patterns of Glycosaminoglycans Encode Molecular Recognition and Activity", was highlighted in Nature Methods.

Our protein fucosylation studies were highlighted in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Nature Chemical Biology and Science STKE.

Professor Linda Hsieh-Wilson received the 2005 Eli Lilly Award in
Biological Chemistry from the American Chemistry Society. According to
the ACS, the award "recognizes outstanding research in biological
chemistry of unusual merit, independence of thought, and originality by
a young scientist who is under the age of 38."

Professor Linda Hsieh-Wilson has been named by the Howard Hughes Medical
Institute (HHMI) as one of 43 new HHMI investigators, an honor bestowed
on the nation's most promising and gifted biomedical scientists.
Professor Linda Hsieh-Wilson has been appointed to the Molecular Biosystems advisory board.

The Hsieh-Wilson lab's O-GlcNAc tagging technology was featured as a
research highlight in Nature Methods.

Our chondroitin sulfate studies were selected as a research highlight of 2004 by Chemical & Engineering News.
